Important information about the educational nature of ORBE Allende’s content and the limits of what we provide.
Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. General information, not advice
All content on this website and in ORBE Allende’s podcasts, workshops, webinars and resources is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax, cybersecurity, medical or mental-health advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice about your specific situation from a qualified, authorized professional.
2. No professional relationship
Reading this website, contacting us, attending a workshop or listening to a podcast does not create a lawyer–client, consultant–client or any other professional relationship with ORBE Allende, its founders, guests or contributors. Do not send confidential information until a professional relationship has been confirmed in writing with an authorized provider.
3. Authorized immigration and legal representation
In Canada, only authorized representatives may provide immigration or citizenship advice or representation for a fee: lawyers and paralegals who are members in good standing of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society, notaries in Québec, and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Other countries have their own rules. Where professional services are offered in the future, they will be delivered by appropriately qualified or authorized professionals, under separate engagement agreements and in compliance with their professional obligations.
4. Founders’ professional activities
ORBE Allende’s founders may also provide professional services through organizations that are separate from ORBE Allende. ORBE Allende does not provide those services, and those organizations are not responsible for ORBE Allende’s content. Any future arrangement between ORBE Allende and organizations affiliated with its founders will be subject to appropriate governance, conflict-of-interest safeguards and applicable funding requirements.
5. Guests and third-party views
Podcast guests, speakers and contributors share their own views and experiences. Their opinions do not necessarily reflect those of ORBE Allende, and their participation does not mean we endorse their services.
6. No guarantees
Immigration, education and employment outcomes depend on individual circumstances and on decisions by governments, institutions and employers. ORBE Allende does not guarantee any visa, permit, status, admission, job or other result. Laws, policies, fees and program requirements change frequently; always confirm information with official government sources.
7. Protect yourself from fraud
ORBE Allende will never guarantee a visa or job offer, ask you to pay to “secure” a place in a government program, or ask for payment through personal accounts or gift cards. If someone contacts you claiming to represent ORBE Allende and asks for money or documents, stop and verify with us at hello@orbeallende.org. You can verify Canadian immigration consultants on the CICC public register and lawyers with the relevant law society.
8. Organizational status
ORBE Allende is an emerging nonprofit initiative based in Alberta, Canada. It is working toward formal incorporation and charitable registration and is not yet a registered charity. Programs and future subsidized services described on this website depend on organizational development, funding availability, eligibility requirements and applicable professional regulations.
9. Mental-health content
Conversations about migration-related grief and well-being are for awareness only and are not therapy. If you are in crisis or worried about your safety, contact local emergency services right away. In Canada you can call or text 9-8-8 to reach the Suicide Crisis Helpline at any time.
